Winter in East Idaho can make for snowy and challenging weddings. But this recent wedding I had the privilege of shooting was one of my favorite winter weddings. The bride designed all of her details with a woodland theme. The wedding ceremony was in an old barn and the reception was held in the lodge just down the road. It was a cold, but gorgeous day. I've always said to my children that if they get married in Idaho in the winter I will be flying them to Florida so we can have a "warm" wedding, but after seeing how beautiful this wedding was I may change my mind. Here are just a few shots of the details. I'll share some of the bride and groom in a little bit.

6 Month Baby "T" {East Idaho Newborn Photographer}
This little guy made us work for his smiles,
but when we got one it was worth the wait. He is a little cutie. I can't believe it has been six months since I did his newborn photos!
Even though he isn't smiling on this next one, I still LOVE it!
Baby "F" {East Idaho Newborn Photographer}
It is so fun when I get to do siblings with their new little addition to the family. And this group of boys were such a delight. Mom has her hands full with FIVE boys! But with as much as football is a HUGE part of their lives, I think they came to the right family. :) This little guy was such a sweetie. He slept a lot of the time and let me do all kinds of poses with him. What a precious new addition to this darling family!
Enjoy the images- and don't forget... IF you like the images leave some loving' for Mom either on the blog under comments or on the Facebook post...

Baby "B" {East Idaho Baby Photographer}
This little guy came in to get his 1 year old pictures done a couple days ago. What a little cutie-pie! He was a little serious at first as he got familiar with our new studio but after a getting out our fire-truck we were able to get some adorable smiles out of him. His smiles are soooo adorable! I had a lot of fun getting to know this darling little one. I can't wait to show Mom all of the amazing images we got. :)
Here are just a couple for a sneak peek.

Newborn Baby "C" {East Idaho Newborn / baby Photographer}
Welcome to this darling newborn!
What a dream she was. She slept almost the whole time and she didn't even poop on me (that is usually part of my job when doing newborns :D ). We got so many cute ones from her session. I can't wait for Mom and Dad to see them.
Here are just a few as a sneak peek....

Darling Baby "L" {East Idaho Newborn Photographer}
I LOVE doing newborn sessions, especially when the baby sleeps almost the whole time. This little adorable baby girl was perfect for her session. I enjoyed getting to "play" with her for a few hours. I can't get over how much hair she has. I had a hard time only choosing a few to show. She has so many adorable images. Here are just a few!
Thanks, Tom & Milissa, for choosing me to do your little angel's newborn session. She is adorable!

Beginner DSLR classes starting June 5th, 2013
We have our next four week beginner camera class starting next week! If you want to learn how to use your camera and get better results in your photos then this class is for YOU!!!!
In the class you will learn the basics of your camera. What the settings mean and how to use them. Each week we cover a new concept, do hands on in class to learn what you just learned and then send you home with an assignment to give you more practice. We take you from beginner to being able to shoot completely in manual.
The cost is $200 for all four classes. Each class is from 7-8:30 pm every Wednesday starting June 5.
Here is what others are saying about our classes...
Thank you SO, SO much for the photography class I took from you. I have taken lots of classes, but yours is the one that really made me understand my camera and photography. I loved the small class size and all of the hands on photographing we did in class. I appreciate your patience and the way you made sure we all understood the concepts and our specific cameras. I would highly recommend this class.

I have owned a Nikon for over two years and never knew how to use it. I have taken a class before on how to use my DSLR Camara with no luck! The classes just had to much information and I am a hands on person. My pictures were blurry, not in focus, and sometimes the pictures would turn out to dark or to light. I have wanted to take a class that would have a few classes to where I could take notes and use the camera. I was informed about Kim's class and decided to take it!
On the first day of class, I had a problem with my pictures coming out really really dark and Kim took the time to look at my camera and see what was going on. After each class Kim was willing to stay and help with any problems that we were having and if during the week we had a problem we could call her and she would help us over the phone.
What I really enjoyed about this class is being able to take everything done in class that day and practice over the week. Again if I had a problem I could call her anytime and she would be there. I have loved taking this class and have really enjoyed Kim as a teacher. I would recommend this class to anyone!!

My husband and I bought a DLS-R camera in December 2011. We took a class together to learn how to use the camera. I left the class feeling so overwhelmed and uneducated, the camera had since sat unused in my closet. After talking to Kim, I eagerly and hesitantly at the same time signed up for the beginner class. After the first class, I was thrilled to be able to use the camera in different modes and get great pictures. I honestly did not think this was possible. I am now unafraid to use manual mode and love shooting as many pictures as possible. Does every picture turn out perfect? No! But the great thing is, I know how to fix it so I can get them to turn out! I have loved the intimacy of the class, the hands on experience, and the willingness of Kim to take the time with every student to answer our questions. Loved the class and now, I love my camera!

Senior "J"- Fall session | East Idaho Senior Photographer
One of the senior sessions we offer is an "all-seasons mini sessions". Our seniors get to have a one hour mini session each season- summer, fall, winter and spring. It is so fun to get to capture images of the seniors throughout their senior year. This is one of our seniors on our "all seasons mini sessions" this year and we just recently did her fall session. We had so much fun shooting images in the leaves and with all the beautiful fall colors. And thankfully we timed it just perfectly, weather wise. I'm glad we didn't have it scheduled for this week, since it is rainy and is suppose to snow this week. :)

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. P | East Idaho Wedding Photographer
What a PERFECT evening this was to do a session! And even better with such an amazing couple! I was so excited to do this couple's wedding couple session. I LOVE doing "Day after" sessions because the couples stress level is gone and the dress has already been worn and trashed at the reception so they aren't worried anymore about getting dirty. It makes it so much easier to be creative. We had so much fun and the sky was so amazing! Here are just a few from their session....
Can I just say- LOVE!!!!!

Engagement session with D&B | East Idaho Wedding Photographer
I recently had a really fun engagement session. This couple are soooo much in love and I loved being around their energy and happiness. They won my free gift certificate at a bridal fair this summer and I had so much fun getting to know them. They have so many interests that they share together and we had fun incorporating their interests in their session. I especially loved adding in their guitars to some of the poses. I LOVE being around couples who are so much in love.
Thanks, Dan & Britany! You two are awesome!!! Here are a few images for a sneak peek of your session. :)
