This little guy made us work for his smiles, 

but when we got one it was worth the wait. He is a little cutie. I can't believe it has been six months since I did his newborn photos! 

Even though he isn't smiling on this next one, I still LOVE it!

 It is so fun when I get to do siblings with their new little addition to the family. And this group of boys were such a delight. Mom has her hands full with FIVE boys! But with as much as football is a HUGE part of their lives, I think they came to the right family. :) This little guy was such a sweetie. He slept a lot of the time and let me do all kinds of poses with him. What a precious new addition to this darling family!

Newborn Baby "C" {East Idaho Newborn / baby Photographer}

Welcome to this darling newborn! 

What a dream she was. She slept almost the whole time and she didn't even poop on me (that is usually part of my job when doing newborns :D ). We got so many cute ones from her session. I can't wait for Mom and Dad to see them.

Exciting news! {East Idaho, newborn, family, wedding, senior photographer}

I am so excited to announce that I have
 joined with another photographer, Shawna Pearce, 
to open a new studio in Rigby, Idaho 
(previously Hymas Image Photography). 

Our new name is 

KS PHOTO STUDIOS 

and here is our new logo...

We have been working hard to move both our studios

 into one and to get it ready to open to the public. Our grand opening will be this Saturday! We would like to invite EVERYONE to come!!!

Darling Baby "L" {East Idaho Newborn Photographer}

I LOVE doing newborn sessions, especially when the baby sleeps almost the whole time. This little adorable baby girl was perfect for her session. I enjoyed getting to "play" with her for a few hours. I can't get over how much hair she has. I had a hard time only choosing a few to show. She has so many adorable images. Here are just a few!

Sweet Newborn Boy | Baby Junior | Idaho Falls Newborn Photographer

This little guy was a little older then most newborns I do but he was a little angel. And his HAIR!!!! I LOVE how unruly it is. Mom tries to get it to lay down and it just wants to stick right back up. I can't get over how adorable it is! I LOVE doing newborns. I love their sweetness, softness, and that baby smell. :)

I don't know how I am suppose to narrow down my favorites from an AMAZING session! I had such a sweet little baby girl come to the studio today. She was so good and hardly fussed at all. I have so many images to choose from. LOVE when that happens! :)

We got a teeny tiny smile with this one. She was so peaceful and sleeping away.

Darling Newborn Baby "C" {East Idaho Newborn Photographer}

I LOVE doing newborns. I love the sweetness of them. The softness. The baby smell. There is just something so tender about being near a brand new baby. And this baby was no exception. What a little doll! He decided to come in to the world a little early and was teeny tiny but was strong in health. After only a couple days in the hospital he got to come home to his family even with being a preemie. Because he was early and so tiny Mom couldn't come to the studio to do newborn pictures. So I loaded my gear and "moved" into their house for a few hours (I'm sure Mom felt like I was moving in as I brought in load after load of backdrops, blankets, props, lights and hats! :D). He was such a great little trooper and slept most of the time. And NO ACCIDENTS!!!! That's AMAZING!!! He was only about 4 lbs 5 ozs when we did his pictures, so teeny tiny. I'm not sure I've ever done a newborn that was so small! 

I am so excited for Mom and Dad to get to see the rest of the images later today. But here is a sneak peak of a few.

More of Baby "S" {East Idaho Baby Newborn Photographer}

Here are a few more images from my newborn session yesterday. I can't believe how good he was. I am having a hard time not editing them ALL! Mom and Dad are going to have a hard time narrowing them down. :) He was such a calm baby that he let me do quite a bit with him.


Just as a side note- the last image was done very carefully and Mom and Dad were right there. I do not risk injuring a baby and make sure that safety comes first. Please- if you are a photographer, please make sure you "safely" pose babies. I know that there are a lot of stories out there on the web about the safety of newborns and it has become a serious issue and problem. I do like to be artistic but not at the risk of injury. :)
